Help Us Get Ready for Our BUSY Season!

Happy fall everybody! As the colder season is upon us, Curbside is going to look a little different! You all have been faithful all Summer! Our volunteers kicked it from the very first week back on the streets! But now it is getting cold and dark! Because of the seasonal changes, Curbside may be ending earlier than normal! We don’t want our kiddos walking home in the dark… safety first! This change of season also means no more ice cream – IT’S COLD!!! We may try to find some other treats for our kiddos though, so don’t worry!! We will keep those bellies happy and full!!
But most importantly, this season change brings our busy season! We have lots of events coming up! You may think it’s early… but go ahead and start getting EXCITED for Bag of Blessings!!!! We are already cranking out and organizing shoes, sweatshirts, socks and more! Our team is PUMPED!!! But we wanna go ahead and remind you awesome people that we need TOYS!!!! We want each kiddo that comes through to get a BRAND NEW TOY – we are anticipating about 1,000 people total!!! So be watching for deals, tell your friends, and get those TOYS!!!! The pure joy will be worth it, we promise!! We will also be sending out a volunteer sign up for Bag of Blessings very soon, so be on the look out!

Grab your best costume, comfiest lawn chair, and biggest bucket of yummy candy! We have Candy Craze coming up very, very quickly! OCTOBER 25!
Our kids have already been asking about Halloween, and we are ALL excited! They love this event, and we love it too! They also love candy… But we are excited to see them in their costumes and you in yours! Don’t forget to SIGN UP HERE!

Curbside Crew

Jesse Hill AKA Papaw
Lee Pointe and Parker Bennett
We want to take time each month to spotlight one of the MANY wonderful volunteers we have at Curbside. This month, we want to celebrate Jesse Hill!
Papaw has been with us from the very beginning! Being the father of our founder, Terri Sheldon, Jesse has been a supporter and volunteer from the vision of Curbside! We all feel like he is OUR Papaw! He is family at Curbside!
From controlling our street safety, to serving food, to whatever else – Papaw will do it with love! He never fails to put a smile on everyone’s faces! He makes sure that everyone leaves happy and feeling loved! It doesn’t matter what it is that needs to be done, Jesse will gladly step in!
Not to mention, Jesse just turned E I G H T Y!!! Yes, 80! He may be one of our oldest volunteers, but he is young at heart! Volunteers and kids both love Papaw and his loving personality!
Papaw, we love you for your dedication and love! Thanks for showing us what it means to serve with a happy heart!
Thanks for all you do Jesse! We love you!
