WHAT IS THANKSGIVING?
Even in the chaos Jesus works in mighty ways! We have had a busy but incredible month with Curbside! The most beautiful visual was seeing YOU spread love and kindness to our amazing kiddos. We had Thanksgiving meals at both of our sites this year, and they were a huge success! Thank you to all those who came and served during this season of gratitude.
On the way home one of our kids asked the bus driver, “What is Thanksgiving?” Our bus driver was able to share what Thanksgiving is and more importantly WHO gives us everything we need to be thankful. Opportunities like this wouldn’t be possible without your support. For that, WE ARE THANKFUL!

DONATE COOKIES
Families that participate in Bag of Blessings will have to wait in line for several hours to recieve their Christmas gifts. That’s why we like to make this day as fun as possible! We will be listening to Christmas music, playing a movie, coloring, and eating yummy cookies! We need LOTS of cookies to feed this many people. CURBSIDE CREW
Harold Bellendir
Lee Pointe
Each month we spotlight one of the MANY wonderful volunteers of Curbside. This month, we celebrate Harold.
Harold has been volunteering with Curbside since March. He serves with every ounce of enthusiasm at our Lee Pointe site.
Harold is the one you will see behind the grill week to week preparing the meals for our friends/families. But, he does much more than grill hamburgers and hotdogs.
Harold has the gift of making you feel so loved and special. Our kids feel that with each interaction with him. We are so thankful that God sent Hillvue’s Reach Team to us, and we are so blessed that Harold is the one who leads that team!
He goes the extra mile in all he does. Instead of preparing a traditional American Thanksgiving meal he went the extra mile to learn how to cook traditional African foods from some of the ladies in the African community at Lee Pointe. He wanted it to feel like home for our families, and he wanted them to know it was prepared with love. Harold has been a blessing since we met him and we can’t wait to serve with him for the years to come.
Thanks for all you do, Harold. We love you!
