USING YOUR GIFTS IN 2018

In our last newsletter, we challenged you to think outside of the box, and use your gifts at Curbside in 2018!

Well, YOU answered the call! Here are a few ways our servants are going to #servewithcurb on our “break.”

Kelli and Amy kicked off 2018 with a small art class. We gathered inside the Curbside building for a creative night of arts and crafts. We laughed (mostly at Mrs. Amy’s attempt to draw), and had a great night of relationship building.

Ashley and Cathy took off into the streets for a quick hang out with our Lee Pointe kiddos. The kids were SO pumped to see them. Lots of love and an enormous amount of hugs!

Chick-fil-A also stepped up to the plate and donated over 20 trays of chicken to Curbside. A group of Curbside volunteers distributed the chicken to BOTH LP and PB families! For it to just be the first month of 2018, y’all sure are KICKIN’ it!!!

CURBSIDE CREW

Ms. Betty Hadley

Parker Bennett

We want to take time each month to spotlight one of the MANY wonderful Curbside volunteers. This month, we want to celebrate Ms. Betty Hadley!

Curbside is so blessed to have Ms. Betty as a faithful volunteer! Ms. Betty kicks it with us in the street with the food department. She is the FIRST to arrive on site to begin setting up the food tables. She even has EXTRA tables, napkins, and plates in the trunk of her car, just in case we need them.

Ms. Betty serves each kid a plate of food with a sweet smile and a precious spirit. She can hang with the best of them when turning a jump rope, and we are so very thankful to have her as apart of our team! Thank you for all you do, Ms. Betty!!!
