WE WILL MISS YOU, SARA!
As you may or may not have heard, one of our biggest team members has to say goodbye to us. Sara Ekiss and her husband, Chris, will be moving “back home” to Mississippi!
Selfishly, we hate to see Sara go! She has done so much for this ministry. She has made Curbside into the ministry it is today – all because of her working so tirelessly. Her hard work will be missed – but no worries! Sara has planned so far in advance, that we are prepared for the remainder of 2018. Most of you have only witnessed her in action while on the streets. But Sara wasn’t just a fun, welcoming volunteer! She was an amazing employee! Her contribution to Curbside, both on and off the streets, will not be forgotten.
Though we will miss Sara, we acknowledge God’s faithfulness and do not doubt His plan! (even though we struggle with it a little bit – ha!) He will, no doubt, continue to use the Ekiss family in mighty ways. We are beyond excited to see what the Lord has in store for them both. Chris and Sara, we’ve been blessed by your friendship and service.
Sara – your spunk, spirit, and contagious smile is what we will remember most. No word or words can show our appreciation enough. You have loved and served us well! Now, press on! Know that you’ve been a “good and faithful” servant in this community! Thanks for the memories and message of love!
Let Sara know she is loved and will be missed!

– WE NEED VAN DRIVERS! If you are available for a Tuesday/Thursday to drive the van, please let us know ASAP!
CURBSIDE CREW
Sara Ekiss
Parker Bennett and Lee Pointe (and everywhere else)
We want to take time each month to spotlight one of the MANY wonderful Curbside volunteers. This month, we want to celebrate Sara Ekiss!
You have, no doubt, experienced the enthusiastic personality of Sara if you’ve served with Curbside in the past 2 years! Sara has helped shape Curbside into the ministry it is today. On AND off the streets of Bowling Green, Sara gave her all. We pray the light she leaves us with will never grow dim. She’s been a reflection of His glory on all levels.
Many of us, Curbside kids and volunteers alike, have been changed for the better because of Sara. She has shared laughs, smiles, tears, love, and most importantly – the Gospel – with many. Sara has planted numerous seeds! She has made a messy ministry feel more than equipped for what’s ahead. She truly is the hands and feet of Jesus and we are so thankful to have witnessed and learned! Showing love and sharing truth – two things Sara does so well! That’s “our” Sara! Curbside will remember you always, and we wish you well in this next chapter and the rest to follow! WE LOVE YOU!
